The 70/20/10 Model: Have You Looked in the Mirror?

Seventy percent of an employee’s learning is expected to come from on-the-job experiences, according to the 70/20/10 Learning Model. As learning professionals, do you spend 70% of your time focusing on ways to support this kind of learning or are you focused on the 10% classroom learning?  It’s an interesting question to think about—do our priorities and projects mirror how we expect employees to learn? What are the ways we can support the 70% experiential learning?  

Come join a lively discussion as we tackle these questions, share what we’re currently doing to support on-the-job learning and think forward to the future of our profession.

Goodman St., turn down Anderson Avenue and go down to the SECOND entrance to Village Gate, near the intersection of Anderson and Merriman St. Look for the parking lot entrance by Sedgewick.
