Adventures in Lifelong Learning: Our Amazing Brains

In today’s world, most people are constantly trying to keep up with the dizzying array of changes coming at them. Continuous learning is the key to surviving and thriving in an era of accelerating changes in technology, the economy, and mother nature. Every time a person learns something new, their brain changes – new neural pathways are forged and synapses created. It’s an amazing lifelong journey of neural growth and adventure. In this session, we’ll explore some of the key neurological processes involved in learning, strategies we can personally apply to learn better, and design strategies we can implement to help others learn more effectively.

Location: ABVI-Goodwill, 500 S. Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.

Room: Gidget A. Hopf Leadership and Learning Institute, second floor.
Park in Lot B. Entrance is under a large concrete/glass canopy.

7:30 - 8:00 AM: Connect with peers, gather questions for discussion.
8:00-9:00 AM: Program
