Networking Event

The Neuroscience of Learning

Join ROCATD colleagues and friends for a casual evening of food, drinks and networking. Our program for the evening will provide valuable insight into the Neuroscience of Learning.

Presentation Outline

A. The field of neuroscience and the varied disciplines researching the brain.

B. Neuroplasticity, meaning and importance

- Hack into the concepts

- Improve health and wellness, ultimately performance and overall quality of life.

- How to be motivated to be a life long learner

C. Why businesses and business owners need to be paying attention.

D. Resources in the community to learn more.

Our speaker:

France McCloskey

Brain Science Social Skills instructor

France has been developing curriculum and providing training workshops throughout her career in the Human Service and/or Education fields for 25 years. She is providing instructional services to professionals and the community through her business, Learning & Motivation Specialists. You can find her at Rochester area recreation centers, conferences and organizations helping people to make stronger connections with themselves, each other and the community. Her passion is to create knowledge from research and teach others how to apply it to change behavior resulting in an improvement in quality of life. In her entertaining and informative style, she brings to the community her combined talent in teaching and expertise in brain health and human connection. She has an MA-Adult Learning, BA-SSI: Cognitive Science/Neuroscience and Psychology and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIST) https://www.linkedin.com/in/learnandmotivate/
